How we run

Community
principles.

Free. No subscriptions, no tiers, no upsells.Belonging shouldn't have a price tag. NeuroSpicy Refugees is free and will remain free. A tip jar exists with public accounting, so you can see exactly where every dollar goes.

Rules before removal. Always.The community rules are posted and accessible before anyone is ever asked to leave. No member will be removed for violating a rule that wasn't written down when they joined.

Peer-led, not expert-led.No one in this community has authority over you because of a credential or a title. Stewards are peers who showed up consistently. You can become one too.

Three-steward check-and-balance.No single person holds final authority on removal. Three stewards have to be involved. While steward seats are open, two of the longest-serving members step in as temporary stewards for any removal conversation. It's the specific protection against the dynamic that made this community necessary.

Radical financial transparency.If money ever flows through this community, the accounting is public. No surprises. No undisclosed revenue model.

Show up as you are, when you're able.No performance requirements. No masking. No pressure to be consistently present or consistently verbal. You belong here in whatever form you arrive.
Who runs this

NeuroSpicy Refugees is run by its stewards with accountability built in. Steward seats are open now, and the community fills them by nomination.

Until those seats are filled, if a conversation about removing a member ever becomes necessary, two of the longest-serving members step in as temporary stewards. No removal rests with one person.

Mycelial is a healing community platform built by TranquilTech, designed specifically for the kind of community NeuroSpicy Refugees is trying to be. No algorithmic feeds. No reaction mechanics. Governance-first. Trauma-informed. Community-owned.

For now, Skool works, and the community comes first. The platform can catch up later.
